So, how did we do this?
The idea was to bring forward the story of any woman whom the users have met during their travel, who’s left an indelible mark in their memory, in the limelight through our unique #PutHerOnTheMap initiative so that others may meet her too!
We invited travellers to recount their interactions with remarkable women who have enriched their travel experiences, encouraging them to share these stories through social media posts and stories. Additionally, we encouraged them to tag the businesses of these influential women on Google Maps. This not only enhances the visibility of their enterprises but also ensures that, through the sharing of these stories on social platforms, they garner attention from fellow travellers.

It’s time to #PutHerOnTheMap through their stories so she continues to inspire others.

This promotional film highlights the collaborative efforts involved in curating crowd-sourced businesses led by real women, including artisans, local chefs, boutique owners, yoga instructors, tour guides, and more. Through this production, we encourage users to share their travel narratives, contributing to the increased visibility of women-led initiatives and their inspiring stories.

How did we market this initiative?
We began to receive an influx of entries and videos from users who were actively participating in our campaign, sharing their experiences with women-owned businesses they discovered while travelling. In no time, social media platforms were inundated with photos and videos showcasing inspiring stories from women-led businesses across India.
We initiated a strategic partnership with Tripoto, a prominent travel community, to enhance visibility and engage with a substantial user base in the travel sector. Subsequently, we shared the compelling stories provided by travellers, contributing significantly to the overall success of the campaign from the users' perspective and fostering a positive brand impression for Cleartrip.
